UM ARMY - UMVIM PROJECT  (added October 2011) Contact: Brian Smith at briansmith@umarmy.org or at 877-771-9484
For 34 years, U.M. ARMY has continued to help countless individuals and families in our communities with minor home repairs. U.M. ARMY is committed to helping those in need who have neither the physical nor financial means of doing the work themselves. Just as importantly, U.M. ARMY is committed to providing opportunities for students to grow spiritually and as leaders. Our mission statement simply reads: "To Provide Christ-centered, quality youth work camps that serve people in need and promote spiritual growth and leadership development in youth." U.M. ARMY witnesses year after year of returning students and we now can see the benefits of U.M. ARMY through participants coming to Christ at a mission camp, Clergy receiving their call through our mission, individuals deciding to serve as full time missionaries and even as we have parents who were once particpants themselves returning with their children, thus continuing the efforts of what was started with just a handful of participants in 1979.
U.M. ARMY in 2012
This year, we will host over 50 mission camps for Junior High, Senior High, and College-aged students in nine states during Christmas, Spring Break, and the summer months of May - August. But we don't stop there, because we also have short term weekend opportunities available too.

Registration opens for summer camps on November 1.

If you are interested in finding out about how to have a camp near you, please do not hesitate to contact me. If we are not already there, we would love to figure out how to get some seeds planted in your geographic area.

U.M. ARMY is excited to partner with other U.M. Mission organizations and we look forward to working with you! Please contact me for any further information and to get the ball rollin!
