The Pacific Northwest Conference will be holding two ERT (Early Response Team) training events. One will be held October 26, 2013 at Bellevue First UMC in Bellevue, WA.
The second will be held November 9, 2014 at Salmon Creek UMC in Vancouver, WA. Both trainings will be from 8:30 - 4:30. If you are interested, please contact Jim Truitt at umvimdisasterresponse@comcast.net.

The training will cover information on places to serve, types of teams, different volunteer ministries, what to pack, insurance, why God calls us to serve, and fellowship with other like-minded individuals. An UMVIM (United Methodist Volunteer in Mission) Leadership Training will be offered at Boise First United Methodist Church, Cathedral of the Rockies; Sunday, March 18, 2012. This is required training for leading insured UMVIM domestic and international trips, and recommended training for leaders of any Methodist mission trip.
