I want to thank everyone that came to the program June 22nd at the San Ramon Valley UMC. We had a nice turnout. The pictures and other information I shared are all online on the CN Conference Ning web site. Those of you who are not already members of Ning will receive an invitation to join so you too can directly access the information. We will try to keep all the detailed information on Ning since this site is more private. General information will go on UMVIM Facebook and the most formal information will go on the Conference web site.

TEAMS NEEDED IN TENNESSEE
Recent flooding in Dyer County in Northwest Tennessee has devastated the lives of hundreds of people. Areas hardest hit are comprised of uninsured older homes in a low income area. The result of this combination is the need to demolish and rebuild most of these homes. The victims cannot afford to rebuild their homes as they have merely the money they have received from FEMA. Skilled volunteer teams are needed to defray some of the costs for these families. Teams are also encouraged to bring funds to assist if at all possible. Housing is being provided by Dyersburg First United Methodist Church. The facility can accommodate up to 60 people. A kitchen, 3 laundry units, and 12 showers are available. Please contact Rev. Robert Craig at Dyersburg FUMC (731.285.6454) to register a team.
